Banana Fritters (Filos)



Banana Fritters also known as Filos in Goa! One of my Nana's favorite evening tea time snack. You can make this yumlecious snack with just minimal ingredients. Do give it a try and share your feedback. Will surely love to hear from you.


Ingredients:- 2 Ripe Bananas

2 Egg

1 cup All Purpose Flour

1/4 cup Milk or as required

2 tbsp Brown Sugar

1tsp Vanilla Essence

Oil for frying

Salt as required


Direction:-

In a bowl, mash the ripe bananas, add eggs and mix well. Add sugar, salt and vanilla essence and mix well. To this mixture add all-purpose flour and mix well. Add in milk little at a time and mix well for form a smooth batter. Heat oil in a pan when hot, pour a ladle full of batter. Once cooked, flip and cook on the other side too. Enjoy these yumlecious snack with hot cups of tea!
