Hunter Beef, a healthier alternate for meat lovers!! I remember my weekend visits to the minimarket and thereafter had to make a stop at Cliff Cool to get my supply be it hunter beef, which has been an all time favorite at my home. After several attempts, I finally mastered this recipe, and started making hunter beef, which was enjoyed by all be it served as sandwiches, salads or just cold cuts enjoyed with chilled beer.

Ingredients:-
2 lbs beef chunk
1 tablespoon sea salt
2 tablespoons saltpeter
12 cloves
12 peppercorns
2 cinnamon sticks
2 lemons
water as required
Directions:-
Wash and clean beef chunk thoroughly. Pierce with a fork all over and keep aside. In a glass container, add lime juice, salt, cloves, cinnamon and salt peter add beef to this mixture and mix thoroughly. Cover bowl and place in refrigerator for three days. On the fourth day discard liquid collected. In a large pot add fresh water three inches above the meat and boil on slow flame for 6/8 hours. Remove the meat from the stock. Using a sharp knife slice the hunter beef into thin slices, make sandwiches or simply serve as cold cuts. EnJoY!
